Deputation on Creek to get 90 minute hearing by council
"Both the Improvement and Beautification Committee and the Dumaresq Creek Improvement committee presented to Council about the realignment of the creek".
The improvement committees asked Council in a letter to delay it's Dumaresq Creek proposals until alternative schemes have been considered.
Alderman K Jones said "they should come armed with submissions of costs of the proposal they will outline"
"The committee also decided the improvement committee should be asked to give details of their schemes to the city engineer ... so he could prepare estimate of costs".
